Every review on Appliance Home Service is a fabric and specification analysis based on my years in textile dyeing and fabric development.
What we check
Fiber content and blend, fabric construction, colorfastness risk, expected shrinkage, pilling risk, finishing (water repellency, softness, coatings) and care instructions.
Where our data comes from
Our Textile Engineer’s Notes draw on real lab test results and production cases from my work, with all factory and buyer names removed. Those results cover reports that reached my desk, so fail rates run higher than overall production.
What we do not do
We do not claim to have tested a product by hand unless we say so in that review. We only recommend products priced at $100 or more, and we never accept payment to change a verdict.
